A great field next to Toong Mao Resort and Hotels
Cipulayan was founded in 2013 and it occupies 0.443 hectares. Rice and leafy greens are grown in here. Currently, rice is the primary crop. In 2013, this field passed organic certification. It is located at Guangfeng 1st St. (Daoyuan Sec.), Ji’an Township, Hualien County. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers, this field follows the rules for natural resources sustainability. Therefore, it can produce natural, safe produce and raise superior organic rice and vegetables.
 
The name cipulayan is the name of this place, translated from Amis to Chinese. Taiwanese aboriginal ancestors divided the land in Hualien into numerous sections and named them in Amis. This land is where cipulayan was located; therefore, it is named Cipulayan.
